— The 60-Second Story —

HyggeHoose was founded on the East Lothian coast with a single belief — that in an age of mass production, there is still a quiet appetite for objects made by one pair of hands, slowly, in good light. The atelier works principally in Scottish and European hardwoods — yew, oak, walnut, burr elm, spalted maple — paired with deep, hand-poured resin pours inspired by the colour of the Forth, the Belhaven shoreline and the long Scottish dusk.

Each piece is signed, numbered and one-of-one. When a design sells, it retires with the buyer. The studio's bespoke practice ranges from intimate whisky-flight boards to live-edge consoles and under-stair cabinetry for private homes across the UK.
